I interviewed some Japanese students and asked them to answer this question: "Are fashionable uniforms acceptable or not?"

Most junior high school students wear uniforms. Some students like uniforms, but other students don't like them.

However, recently, according to a Japanese government report, the number of students in Japan who like uniforms is increasing because school uniforms are more fashionable. Fashionable uniforms are used as a way to attract students.

I interviewed some Japanese students to find out what they thought about this idea. I got different opinions about this question: "Are fashionable uniforms acceptable or not?"

Hiromi said, "I like school uniforms because I don't need to choose clothes every day. I think that fashionable uniforms are good. My high school uniform was fashionable, but there was a problem. Fashionable uniforms are too expensive."

Miki also said that school uniforms are good. She doesn't like fashionable uniforms because she doesn't want to spend too much money for uniforms. She disagrees that fashionable uniforms make many students want to enter a high school. Her personal opinion is that uniforms should be changed. They should be more casual.

Mitsuaki said "I don't like school uniforms because school uniforms aren't individual. I agree that fashionable uniforms make many students want to enter a high school. If students like fashionable uniforms, it is good."
