Recently,
young people in Japan have become interested in
changing their bodies; cosmetic surgery has become
especially popular.
A
few years ago, cosmetic surgery was too expensive
and too dangerous to have done; but the prices have
gone down, and the danger has decreased. It is now
easy to have it done.
Many
young people want to change the appearance of a
part of their face such as their eyes, nose, or
facial line because they don't like that part or
they want to make a good impression on others.
We
tend to judge people's character by their faces; as
a result, some people try to make their faces look
better by having cosmetic surgery done.
Personally,
I don't know anyone who has gotten it done, and I
don't want to have it done myselfI never
will. I think it is still dangerous, and it's
important to protect our bodies.
