Cosmetic Surgery Is Popular in Japan

We tend to judge people's character by their faces; as a result, some people try to make their faces look better by having cosmetic surgery done.

 

Recently, young people in Japan have become interested in changing their bodies; cosmetic surgery has become especially popular.

A few years ago, cosmetic surgery was too expensive and too dangerous to have done; but the prices have gone down, and the danger has decreased. It is now easy to have it done.

Many young people want to change the appearance of a part of their face such as their eyes, nose, or facial line because they don't like that part or they want to make a good impression on others.

We tend to judge people's character by their faces; as a result, some people try to make their faces look better by having cosmetic surgery done.

Personally, I don't know anyone who has gotten it done, and I don't want to have it done myself—I never will. I think it is still dangerous, and it's important to protect our bodies.
