I have visited Las Vegas 14 times! The first time I went to Las Vegas, it was fantastic. My friend invited us to celebrate Christmas in December of 1999. I went with my husband, my two kids, and my sister-in-law and her husband. The trip from Los Angeles took 4 ½ hours. We arrived at night, and the view looked fantastic because Las Vegas has a lot of lights. It’s incredible the quantity of people you see there, with all the different nationalities. The City of Entertainment has a lot of casinos and hotels. People can gamble any time, any hour. The casinos have different kinds of machines and games such as poker and bingo. I played the slot machines and I didn’t win. We visited the Venetian Hotel, the New York-New York Hotel, and the Bellagio Hotel. At the Circus Circus Hotel, the second floor has games for kids, and they have a clown show; my kids enjoyed everything. The majority of hotels have entertainment for adults, like shows with famous singers, magic shows, and operas. When I go to Las Vegas I gamble only $100 to $150, because I think I am an unlucky person. In my opinion, it is good to have a fun time, but you should gamble with moderation. Some people have problems gambling. We are responsible for our actions.
