Pansit
Canton (Fried Noodles)

Rose
presents a big bowl of Pansit Canton, a
popular dish in her country.
|
This
is a noodle dish that is popular in the
Philippines. It can be eaten at any timein
the morning, afternoon, for dinner, and even as a
snack. These
noodles are Chinese noodles with rice and
chicken.
Ingredients:
- 1/4
kilo of meat, any kind
- 1
stick of celery
- 1
onion
- 1/4
of a cabbage
- 1/4
kilo of beans
- 3
tablespoons of oil
- 3
pieces of garlic
- soy
sauce and salt to brown the
noodles
Method:
- Put
the oil in the saucepan. Heat it for a while
until hot.
- Put
in pieces of garlic and onion.
- Cook
until brown.
- Put
the meat in the pan and let it fry until it
becomes golden.
- Then
put in the rest of the ingredients--all the
vegetables.
- Leave
it for a few minutes.
- Put
in the white noodles with soy sauce to taste
or
sprinkle a little bit of salt and wait until it
is cooked.
- Serve
the fried noodles on a platter.
