Resisting Globalization and Preserving Cultures
Is globalization changing cultures? Many
people see globalism as the dominance of
multinational corporations and the destruction of
cultural identities. Some use violent means to
resist globalization. Others find peaceful ways to
protest and say they just want to preserve their
culture.
