Most people prefer to spend their holiday at the seaside in warm countries among a lot of tourists. To get a change of air, why not visit a city?

Well! But which to chose among Paris, Rome, Venice, London, and Vienna? Berlin doesn't seem to be the first choice.

However the discovery of the German capital left me with lots of positive memories. The city is impressive with its broad area. The wide and shady pavements make walking easy.

The spacious, user-friendly places framed by restaurants and terraces invite you to drink, eat, or have coffee with delicious pastries. The bold architecture is designed to offer much space to its users.

Moreover, this city is a paradise for shopping addicts who find a vast choice of shops. Even Europe's biggest shopping mall, the KaDeWe, is situated in Berlin.

Visitors can also enjoy a boat-trip on the Spree or a walk in the Tiergarten, even if the little ice bear Knut is no longer so cute.

I really have an unforgettable memory of this very convivial city which I would visit again with great pleasure.
